Glow For Kids Sake 5K is August 24th

A fundraiser for Nodaway County Big Brothers and Big Sisters is scheduled for later this month. The Glow for Kids Sake 5K Walk or Run returns August 24th.

Executive Director for Big Brother Big Sisters of Nodaway County, Lynette Harbin says that the Glow for Kids Sake Event has been held annually for several years.

"It's always a very well-attended event.  It's a great family-friendly event.  We have a 5K course but we also understand that sometimes people with small kids can't do a 5K.  So we offer a shorter 2-mile course as well.  To make it even funner for the families that come out, we offer free Kool Kats for everyone.  We also have a big, giant blow-up slide that will be there for the kids to enjoy.  It's just a really fun event."

Anyone interested in walking or running in the 5K can register at the Big Brother Big Sisters of Nodaway County office or online at www.glowforkidssake.org.
